Introduction of the course

In this module on Oxygen administration as a health care provider you will learn how to perform administration of supplemental oxygen to prevent or treat hypoxia and other medical conditions in adults.

The objective of this video is to:

• Describe the indications for oxygen therapy
• Enlist the key points to be considered during oxygen administration
• Demonstrate the methods of oxygen administration in adults
• Raise awareness about various guidelines (BTS, WHO and NHS) to be followed while administering oxygen
