Introduction of the course

This module on Safe patient handling and mobility describes how a healthcare worker can safely ambulate or transfer the patients.

The objective of this course is to:

• Understand the concepts related to safe handling of patient
• Demonstrate the procedure of safe transferring of a patient
• Demonstrate the procedure of ambulation of patient with various aids
