Introduction of the course

This module describes the clinical aspects of putting a patient on mechanical ventilator the theoretical knowledge about setting up a ventilator as per patient need. 

Objective

At the end of the course the learner would be able to:

• To understand the basic concept of mechanical ventilation 
• To discuss the functioning of mechanical ventilator
• To describe about the CPAP and BiPAP modes of ventilator
